I typed this up and then realized it was too long:
I was laid off. Don't be sad! It was not necessarily a bad thing, other than the fact I am now addicted to clipping coupons, shopping at the Farmer's Market, and had to switch to much cheaper hair products (I would probably buy good face stuff even if I only made minimum wage). Follow along as I try to figure out the best way to put a positive spin on the fact I am jobless, man-less, and clueless as I approach my 31st birthday. Sometimes life doesn't turn out as we might expect, but that doesn't mean it won't turn out well eventually. Right? RIGHT?
