Those ads were SuperBORING.

I liked the actual game, as I was rooting for the Saints due to the fact I am a sports socialist, but man...the commercials were, overall, very LAME.  Not only were they lame, but I found them problematic in the sense that they were showing all these emasculated men who were acting like they are just at the beck-and-call of the women in their lives.

This flowchart nicely sums it up.  Am I being overly sensitive?

Hey I have the game recorded but I am yet to watch it. Also the channel which I recorded from has no advertisements. How cool is that?

I don't think you are being overly sensitive either; I've watched a little television in America and the ads are constant! Even during films! Which baffles me.

Nice blog as well, just come across this.

Oh my gosh! You are soo right! After two people I mentioned it to seemed to think I was crazy, I decided not to talk to anybody about it anymore, but the commercials were very anti-woman (except for those rediculous go Daddy commercials, which were anti-woman in an entirely different way).
