See what happened?

Do you see what happened here?  November finished and I was all "SHA-WHOO!  The pressure!" and now it's December 4th and this is the first time I've been on blogger.  I, my friends, lack willpower, self-control, and probably determination, and once a goal is finished I have to take a big, huge sabbatical in order to rest my weary head.

I will admit, however, that the November experiment that House of Jules roped me into was great fun and good writing practice for my forthcoming best-selling novel/lukewarmly-good short story.

I truly have a ton of things to write about, but I'm going to have to spread them out.  I swear to you, HAND TO GOD, I will be a more regular blogger than I was prior to November, but probably not as regular of a blogger as I was in November.  I have to run now, I'm working on a pail list item of painting a bookshelf.  I've only been meaning to do it for about...OH, six years now, so I figured now was as good a time as any.

I might be missing something. Why put so much pressure on yourself to blog? Is it a way to force yourself to write?

Well, a couple reasons. 1) I need to get better at sticking with things, in general, and 2) so I write frequently. Since I'm not in school right now, but possibly will be applying for PhD programs in the near future, I need to have a place to write (since I'm not currently required to write papers!)
